That made it harder to attract and keep customers.<\/p><\/li>\n <li><p><strong>Limited insight into product availability:<\/strong> without one central system it was hard to track the availability of rental products in real time. This led to double bookings and trouble managing stock levels. These challenges may sound simple, but imagine discovering the problem at the moment your customer expects the order.<\/p><\/li>\n <li><p><strong>Complex integrations with payment and shipping providers:<\/strong> connecting a payment and a shipping provider turned out to be complex and time-consuming. Orders were delayed, payments did not match and shipping was hard to manage. Actions often had to be repeated in one system or the other, and vice versa.<\/p><\/li>\n <li><p><strong>Manual processes:<\/strong> relying on manual work, such as sending quotes by phone, email and PDF and managing stock in spreadsheets, became more cumbersome and error-prone as the business grew. Eventually they found a WordPress plugin for a fraction of the cost that suited their equipment rental.
