How to solve itA long holiday weekend
The bookings overlap. And a tent that comes back wet can't go straight out again. One slip and you promise a tent that isn't there.

For each of those three moments there is a feature in Be-Bookable. This is what it looks like for your customer.
Thursday, 17:05
Your webshop answers "is that tent still free then?" by itself. Your customer clicks the first and the last day in the calendar, sees the total price straight away and pays online. Prefer a fixed price for a weekend? Give the tent that as an extra rental price.
This is what your customer sees: Friday to Sunday, 3 days, €195 in total.

A long holiday weekend
For each tent you set how many you have. Every booking takes them out of stock for those days, whether it comes in through the webshop or you enter it yourself. A day after every rental to let the tent dry and check it, you simply add after the booking. That day counts too.
This is what your customer sees: 10 and 17 October are full, so they pick 24 October.

Saturday morning
For each tent you set recommended accessories. The customer ticks chairs, tables, string lights or a patio heater, and everything counts in your stock. What always has to come along, such as the anchoring kit with a stretch tent, you make required.
This is what your customer sees: string lights and chairs added, and the total keeps up.

In practice
Every tent rental is different. These are common settings.
| What you rent out | Rental prices | Useful to set up |
|---|---|---|
| Party tents | Per day or per weekend | A day after every rental to let the tent dry |
| Stretch tents | Per day | The anchoring kit as a required accessory |
| Tables and chairs | Per day, as an accessory | Also for rent on their own as a product |
| Lights and heaters | Per day, as an accessory | Optional with every tent |
| Complete party packages | A bundle with its own price | Stock follows the part you have least of |
| Delivery and setup | As a shipping method | Next to pickup, so the customer chooses |

To be fair
No idea is too crazy: what rental businesses ask for often moves up our roadmap.
About Be-Bookable
Be-Bookable grew out of Goede Buur Silent Disco, the rental business of one of our founders. Customers there have booked and paid by themselves from day one, and the stock is always right. Today other rental businesses run on it too.
Yes. The customer picks a start and end day in the calendar and pays per day. Want a fixed price for a weekend? Then also give the tent a rental price for a weekend.
Set a preparation time after every rental, for example a day. During that time the tent cannot be booked, and that time counts in your stock.
Yes. In the checkout you offer shipping methods with their own price, such as pickup or delivery and setup. The customer chooses. Your shop can be in Dutch, German and English, and you set up delivery for the areas you choose. Per product you can switch off options that don't fit, for example pickup for a large party tent that you always deliver and set up.
Yes. Switch on delivery costs per zone or distance under Integrations. You then charge per zone of postcodes, or per kilometre from your shop postcode, with a free distance and a maximum if you like. The customer sees the delivery price as soon as they enter their postcode.
Yes. You set them up as recommended accessories of the tent, optional or required. They then show on the product page, go into the same booking and count in your stock.
Yes. Switch on booking requests in your shop settings. Customers then send a request without paying, and the booking stays reserved meanwhile. You check the request, adjust it if needed and send a quote, which the customer accepts and completes in your shop.
Getting started is free and your first 100 orders cost nothing. After that you pay €19.99 per month, excluding VAT. Be-Bookable charges no commission on your rentals. There is no contract and you can stop every month.
Online through Mollie, with the payment methods you switch on in your own Mollie account, such as iDEAL, credit card or PayPal. You can also offer a payment option of your own, such as paying at pickup.
Yes. You share the link to your shop, or you add it to your existing website with a snippet of code, whether it is built in WordPress, Shopify or something else.
